Im from Sagardwip. Its a shame that having such a heritage our state govt. cant manage the mela properly every time. Its the second biggest gathering but to reach our islands you have to wait for 2 hrs for ferry. Our corrupted govt. stated that there will be a bridge before 15 years but there is no sign of a brick till date. We can't even invite guests to our mela for this pathetic infrastructure. 😞
